ACUERDO CISCO / CISCO AGREEMENT

Finalmente luego de algunos meses de conversaciones que comenzaron en Bangalore en la India, Buenos Aires y despues en Rosario, logramos que se firmara un acuerdo de cooperacion tecnologia entre CISCO Sudamerica y el Gobierno de Rosario. Este es el primero en Argentina en su tipo y el segundo de Latinoamerica (el primero fue Chile), y un importante paso para avanzar sobre proyectos para digitalizar a una comunidad y a su gobierno en forma ordenada y planificada en Argentina.
Creo que Rosario es un buen inicio para ponerla de ejemplo en Latinoamerica porque es una ciudad mediana (un millon de habitantes) tiene una muy buena comunidad universitaria, un muy buen puerto y autopista a Buenos Aires, capital del pais,(a solo 380 km.)
Este ejemplo se puede replicar en otras ciudades de Latinoamerica, y hacia alla vamos con este tipo de acuerdos y la mision "evangelizadora" de RED WI.

Finally, after some conversations that began in Bangalore, India, Buenos Aires and later in Rosario, we achieved that CISCO South America and Rosario City Government signed a cooperation agreement. This is the first in its kind in Argentina and second in Latinamerica (first was Chile) and a good step to advance on projects to digitize this community and its government in a planned way.
I believe that Rosario City is a good beginning to put as an example in Latin America because it's medium-size (a million people live there) with a large university community, a new port and a highway to Buenos Aires (Argentina's capital city at only 230 miles)
This is a good model to implement in other cities of Latin America, and there we go through this type of agreements and the mission of "evangelization" of RED WI.
